How a Funeral Services Provider Helped Us Through a Tough Time

I always dreaded planning for a funeral. I’ve heard countless times how crucial it is to plan this in advance, but I’ve always avoided the idea. I’m only realizing these past few days how much it helps if you know exactly where to go to and who to ask assistance from during a heavily-emotional period.

Last month, my Uncle passed away. Since his children are still young to assist their mother on the funeral, my mother and I kept her company. I knew then how difficult it is to be making decisions when you’re grieving.

But on the brighter side, we’re happy we found a great funeral services provider. Everything ran smooth. They made sure to accommodate my Aunt’s requests. They were careful and organized. Here are the package inclusions they provided, which I think covered everything we needed for the funeral.

Casket. It shouldn’t be hard, right? As long as your deceased loved one has a good casket to use, that should be fine. However, shopping for the casket yourself won’t be practical. It can take too long. You don’t have much time as you need to have the funeral done within a few days. With a funeral services provider in Singapore, they can already take care of the casket. You’ll have selections, but at least you no longer have to go out of your way.

Embalming, dressing, and makeup. We supplied the clothes my Uncle would wear and passed it on to the embalmer. I no longer asked the exact details, but I knew my Aunt also had requests about my Uncle's embalming and makeup. They were all taken care of by the team.

Transportation. There was an outpouring of love for my Uncle. So many attended the funeral. The funeral services provider also offered two-way transportation so all guests will be able to go to the cemetery conveniently. If we had to deal with the transportation separately, it would have been more complex and costly.

Chairs and tables. The funeral company also supplied all the chairs and tables we needed for the funeral. They took charge of setting up and also did the cleaning afterward. My Aunt never had issues with the supplies on that day.

Mobile Toilet. Even a mobile toilet was provided for the comfort of all guests. It was impressive that they also considered this part when putting up funeral packages. Guests kept asking if there’s a nearby toilet they can use and it was a relief the mobile toilet came with the package we chose.

Fans. Fans were also supplied, which made the occasion a lot more pleasant. Though the weather was sweltering, the fans made sitting outdoors manageable. It was the first Christian funeral that we attended in Singapore. And sadly, of our loved one. The funeral services provider had been a huge help.

I know there are a lot more included in the package. Although it still makes me uncomfortable to talk about funerals, at least now I have an idea who to work with when that time comes.

My Mom also realized how important it is to find, as early as possible, a Christian funeral service provider in Singapore. That way, we can also plan about the costs ahead of time.
